As with all Space Age Book purchases, I will ship these books in a moisture proof zip-loc bag, padded in bubble wrap, inside a sturdy box to assure they reach their new owner in the same condition as my description. Covers are bright and otherwise unmarked. Its binding is tight and square, with no creases in its spine or hinges. It appears unread, and is in very good+ condition, marred only by a neatly blacked-out price on the front cover, light corner bumps, and traces of wear on cover edges. The reading copy is a 1976 17th printing. Its covers and pages are otherwise unmarked. The book itself is in good+ condition, marred by spine lean, reading creases in the spine, some very light surface soiling, and traces of wear to cover edges. Inside its front cover it is inscribed, "To - a rich collection of shorties - more due to Asimov than me! Groff C. It has "First Edition 1963" and no printings on its copyright page. Nearly every story has some kind of fantastic twist ending. The stories are, as the title implies, very short, 7 pages at the most and some as short as a single page. It's edited and has introductions by Isaac Asimov and Groff Conklin. The first edition is the red cover variant. I'm reading and really enjoying the '50 short science fiction tales' anthology. A collectible first edition in good+ condition SIGNED by editor Groff Conklin, PLUS a shelf-worthy reading copy.
